EWCF has officially announced that the winner of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES (BMPS) will get a direct chance to play in the eSports World Cup 2025 (EWC). This will be the first time that an Indian BGMI team will participate in an eSports World Cup at the international level. Mumbai-based S8UL Esports Club has also been included in the EWCF Club Partner Program. The club is formed by the merger of two legendary teams, like SOUL and 8bit and has already strengthened its identity in the Indian gaming community. Now the club has qualified for the eSports World Cup 2025 in games like Apex Legends and EA SPORTS FC and is also competing for qualification in competitions like Tekken, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, BGMI and chess.

Exclusive broadcast partnership for Indian viewers
EWCF is also set to announce a strategic broadcast partnership with India’s leading digital and streaming services company. This partnership will bring special events, local language broadcasts and exclusive content to India’s more than 500 million gamers, allowing viewers from every corner of the country to be a part of this great battle of global esports.
Esports World Cup 2025: The biggest platform ever
The Esports World Cup 2025, to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be an event in which 200 clubs and more than 2000 players from more than 100 countries around the world will participate. This time the event is going to be the biggest esports event in history, with 25 tournaments in 24 games, with a total prize pool of $70 million (about Rs 580 crore).
